Eighth auction of US corn in December
China’s state stockpiler Sinograin announced it will be auctioning off 82,600 metric tons of imported GMO corn from the US on Tuesday. This will be the eighth auction of imported GMO corn this month.
There have been nearly 962,500 tons of imported GMO corn offered in eight state-run auctions this month, with about 462,000 tons sold so far this month. The overall clearance rate is approximately 48%.
