Price inflation in China rose slightly in January this year even though the country’s most consumed meat price continued to slump during the same month, according to latest government data.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) last month ticked 0.3% higher from the previous month and was nearly 1% higher year on year due to firmer fuel prices, China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Wednesday.
