Rising feed costs squeeze livestock farmers amid low hog, egg prices

Feed prices in China continued to strengthen as companies hiked prices following higher raw material costs. Major animal feed producers including Chai Tai, Haid Group, and New Hope have all announced price increases. Raw material products have risen sharply in the past month, with May Dalian soybean meal futures rising over 17%.
