China grants 1.6bn yuan support to ensure wheat output this year

The Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) has allocated 1.6 billion yuan ($253 million USD) of financial support to help with crop production and disaster management, according to an official statement on Thursday.
