China to buy more pork from market for reserve replenishment

The Chinese state planner National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on Tuesday said that it is set to accelerate pork restocking efforts as falling pork prices in the country triggered “first-level alert”. This will be the third round of national pork reserve restocking this year that started at the beginning of March this year.
