CPI tick higher; Rapeseed oil auctions; Farmers regain access

March CPI shows sharp rise in vegetable prices China’s consumer price index rose 1.5% year on year in March, up from 0.9% in February. Pork prices were down 41.4% y/y which contributed to a drop of 0.83% to the total CPI figure. Beef prices were flat, mutton fell 4.6%, and aquatic products rose 4.2%.
