Typhoon on track to bring heavy rains to eastern China

Typhoon Muifa is expected to make landfall in the eastern province of Zhejiang on Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday morning, the National Metrological Center issued an orange alert, its second-highest level, as the storm approaches China.   In its orange alert, the center said the storm is expected to strengthen in intensity before making landfall.
