Temperatures turn sharply colder across China

Over the past week, temperatures in China were 1-4C higher than average. This has reversed sharply this week, with large temperature drops across most of the country and Shanghai approaching freezing temperatures this week. On Tuesday, the National Meteorological Center re-issued its orange warning, the second highest level, for sharp drops in temperatures.
