Chinese grain importers have ramped up buying of French barley in recent days following a drop of prices thanks to the successful renewal of the Ukraine-Russia grain export deal, the establishment of the Brazil-China corn trade, and the smooth planting of French new crops.
According to traders, Chinese buyers have snapped up a half dozen of barley and wheat cargoes for December 2022 and January 2023 shipments in the past week as prices began to soften.
