Consumer prices dipped back into deflationary levels with October prices down 0.2% year on year and down 0.1% compared to September.
The food, alcohol, and tobacco segment saw the largest decrease, down 2.1% year on year, contributing a decline of 0.61% which was partially offset by increases in other categories.
Compared to last month, the segment was also the only to decline, falling by 0.4% while all other categories were flat or higher.
