Breeding chick imports stopped due to avian flu

Due to outbreaks of avian flu in France, Chinese imports of breeding chicks for boilers have been effectively cut off. Import sources have varied in recent years, with poultry breeders in China buying from different locations depending on outbreaks of avian flu.
