Strong wheat auction results but prices decline

In Wednesday’s national wheat auction, Sinograin listed 800k tons of wheat, with 93% of this being purchased by the market. The average price was 2398 yuan per ton, down 43 yuan per ton compared to last week. Since the start of the auctions, 3.6 million tons have been listed, with 3.0 million tons being purchased by the market. Henan remains the largest province for the auctions, with 561k tons listed. Of this, 462k tons was from 2017, 98k tons was from 2019, and 1.3k tons was from 2020....
