Heavy rains pose risk to rapeseed areas

Last week, temperatures in China were 1-4C higher than normal, with some areas of the northeast seeing temperatures over 6C higher than normal. Areas of the southeast and the Yangtze River Delta received 100-250mm of rainfall, which is 1-2 times higher than normal. These heavy rains are unfavorable for early rice planting and rapeseed crops.
