Wheat price rally slows on weakness in corn

Wheat prices were up marginally in Hubei province last week. The upward momentum has slowed due to the increased volume auctioned each week and the pullback in corn prices last week. Demand from feed companies remains the largest driver in the market due to negative margins for flour millers following the recent rise in wheat prices.
