Wednesday’s national wheat auction saw results that were weaker than last week. Of the 800.6k tons that were available, the market purchased 644k tons, or 80.5% of the total. This is down from purchases of 741k tons, or 92.6% last week.
The average price was 2374 yuan per ton, down 24 yuan per ton compared to last week.
