Wheat auctions see weaker result

Wednesday’s national wheat auction saw results that were weaker than last week. Of the 800.6k tons that were available, the market purchased 644k tons, or 80.5% of the total. This is down from purchases of 741k tons, or 92.6% last week. The average price was 2374 yuan per ton, down 24 yuan per ton compared to last week. Since the beginning of this year’s auctions, a total of 4.4 million tons has been offered, with 3.6 million tons being purchased by the market....
