In the latest price update from the National Bureau of Statistics, urea prices were up 0.2% from late March, but still down 3.3% year on year. In comparison, compound fertilizers have performed strongly, up 1.4% from late March, and up 13.3% year on year.
For the government’s price tracking, compound fertilizer is defined as 45% NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) fertilizer.
