Pork output continued to rise in Q1

Combined output of pork, beef, mutton, and poultry rose to 26.62 million tons in Q1, up 4.8% year on year, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. Pork output grew by 4.2% and poultry output grew by 9.3%. Beef production fell by 1.4%, and mutton output fell by 2.0%. Milk production increased by 3.4%, and egg production decreased by 3.1%.
