In its latest crop update, the National Meteorological Center reports that 99.3% of China’s winter wheat crop has growth rates that are at or above normal levels.
Prior to Thursday’s update, the last wheat condition update from the NMC was on April 2. In that update, NMC reported that 97% of winter wheat was categorized as Class 1 or 2.
