Average temperatures in agricultural areas were close to normal last week. Areas of northern and northeast China saw temperatures higher than normal, but areas of Heilongjiang were colder than normal, as a cold front started to move south across the country.
The wheat belt saw some precipitation, with Henan seeing 10-50mm of rainfall, but the northern part of the wheat belt saw minimal rainfall, and soil moisture deficits are developing in areas of Hebei and Shanxi.
