In China’s April export data, exports of most fertilizers were down sharply, except for ammonium sulphate and fertilizer mixtures not specified elsewhere in the HS codes.
For nitrogen fertilizers, urea exports were 15k tons and ammonium sulphate exports were 1.79 million tons. In late April, Chinese Customs began increasing inspections of ammonium sulphate exports.
