Auction results see weak rice purchases but continued strong corn purchases

Last week, there were 10 Sinograin auctions with a listed volume of 84k tons. 20k tons, or 24% was purchased. There were 14 corn procurement auctions with a listed volume of 391k tons. 266k tons, or 68%, was purchased. There were 13 rotation auctions with a volume of 157k tons. 125k tons, or 80%, was traded. This week’s auction of rice stockpiles continued to see low volume. 601k tons of government reserve rice from 2022-2025 was listed. Only 9.5k tons, or 1.58% was purchased....
