Wheat harvest nears completion, but more rains hit Hebei

China’s harvest of wheat is 89.5% complete as of June 15. By province, over 90% has been finished in Shandong, over 80% in Hebei, nearly 80% in Shaanxi, and over 70% in Shanxi. On June 16, Hebei issued a warning for heavy rain in the province. Some areas would see 50-70mm of rainfall over 6 hours, with some locations seeing over 100mm.
