Hubei reports high rapeseed quality despite heavy rains
Hubei’s grain stockpiling agency released its 2026 report on rapeseed quality in the province based on 310 samples from 76 counties.
According to the report, the quality was similar to last year. The amount of sprouted seeds was 0.4%, up 0.2 percentage points compared to last year. The amount of seeds with mold was 0.5%, up 0.3 percentage points from last year.
The oil yield was 40.9%, up 0.4% year on year.
