Imported corn auctions cool; rice auctions see minimal sales
In the fourth round of auctions of imported corn, there was 213k tons listed with 142k tons, or 67%, purchased by the market. The average price was 2216 yuan per ton.
The national auctions of rice purchased at minimum reserve prices continue to see weak results. On Tuesday, there was another 600k tons listed, but only 2k tons purchased.
