Wheat prices rise to highest in over 2 years

Wheat prices continued to rise in Hubei, up 13 yuan per ton last week. This is the highest price since mid-June 2024. Stockpilers in the province continue to bid for wheat, with average prices around 2620-2640 yuan per ton for wheat from outside of the province that meets stockpiling standards. Prices for dried but sprouted wheat are at a large discount, averaging 2140-2180 yuan per ton.
