Wheat prices flat in Hubei as demand weakens on arrival of corn

Wheat prices were down marginally in Hubei province last week. Flour and bran prices have remained under pressure, with flour prices falling to the lowest level in several years. This has continued to pressure milling margins, with millers remaining cautious in their purchases. The arrival of new crop corn has also pressured the market, with prices below wheat at around 2320-2350 yuan per ton.
