Forage production higher in July
Forage production in July was 7.9% higher year on year, but some areas saw lower production due to drought and heat.
Temperatures in most grasslands in July were higher than average, but similar to 2025. Rainfall was 30% lower than average, but higher than last year. Central Gansu and central and western Inner Mongolia saw rainfall 30-80% lower than last year, which led to a decline in forage production.
