Fertilizer prices continue to rise, risking new crop yields Urea futures have been steadily climbing over the past two months. Prices hit a peak in October during the energy crunch in China, but then reversed lower as the government announced actions to increase energy supply and support fertilizer production. However, despite these efforts cash prices rebounded in the past month, and futures have continued to firm.
