China hog-corn ratio slumps to five-month low on falling hog prices The hog to corn price ratio in China continued to fall since late November last year against the backdrop of weakening hog prices in the country shedding bearishness to the market. The key indicator for China’s hog market slumped further last week to 4.75, the lowest level in five months as hog prices softened to the weakest point since mid-October 2021 at 13.49 yuan/kg ($2,124 USD/ton).
