Sinograin cancelled its latest round of auctions of imported corn scheduled for Tuesday. Auctions have been relatively small, with only 530k tons listed since mid-September, and only 201k tons purchased. Tuesday’s auction was going to see the largest amount listed at 151.1k tons.

Hog prices remained under pressure last week, with live hogs down another 1.7%. Piglet prices continue to fall, down 3.1% last week, and continue to fall to new lows in this price series. In comparison, live cattle and beef prices continue to climb slowly but steadily.
